Hill Work at Mary Bartelme Park

Mary Bartelme Park has a small viewing hill, and it's worth using. It's made for incline walks, hill repeats and step-ups, and the open lawn beside it handles mobility work and bodyweight circuits. On hot days, the mist gates help you cool off afterward. Farther west, Union Park has ball fields and a football and soccer field with room for sprints, shuttle runs and agility drills, plus courts nearby. Your trainer can build a park day into your week when the weather is good, then bring sessions back inside for winter.

Warehouse Lofts and New West Loop Towers

Homes here split two ways. Many former warehouses are now loft condos, and new high-rise condos and apartments have gone up around them. A loft's open plan gives you room for longer movements, and over time it can hold a bench and heavier work if you want to add equipment. In a newer building, train in your unit or the fitness center where management allows. Either way, your trainer brings what the program calls for. We've also run resident fitness programs in buildings such as JeffJack and Left Bank.

Nutrition Support Along Randolph Street

If your week includes a lot of meals out on Randolph Street or in Greektown, nutrition counseling can sit right alongside your training. It covers custom meal plans and grocery tours, so you know what to order, what to buy and how it supports what you're working toward, from losing weight to building muscle. Your trainer and your nutrition plan point at the same goal instead of pulling in different directions. Ask about it on your free consultation, and we'll fold it into your quote.
