Big buildings, two-flats and prewar houses
Housing here covers a wide range. About half of the city's homes sit in buildings with five or more units, nearly a third are in buildings of 20 units or more, and roughly a third are detached single-family houses. About 40 percent were built before 1940. That mix shapes how a session looks. In a large apartment or condo building, your trainer can meet you in the building's fitness center, if it has one, or in your unit. In an older house or a two-unit building, a cleared living room or a spare corner is enough, because our trainers bring the equipment your program needs.
Seven Purple Line stops and three Metra stations
Inside city limits, the CTA Purple Line stops at South Boulevard, Main, Dempster, Davis, Foster, Noyes and Central, and it runs express to and from the Loop during weekday rush periods. Metra's Union Pacific North line adds Main Street, Davis Street and Central Street stations, and Davis Street is the stop for downtown Evanston. For clients with a downtown Chicago job, that rail access makes a split schedule realistic: a session at your office one day, at home the next, and virtual training when you travel.
Lakefront path, beach parks and the Ladd Arboretum
When the weather cooperates, sessions can move outside to a nearby park. The city has six public swimming beaches and a lakefront path used for walking, biking and running, and Clark Street Beach is the beach closest to downtown. Dawes Park, Raymond Park and Fountain Square are other green spaces in or near downtown. On the west side, the Ladd Arboretum runs as a narrow strip between McCormick Boulevard and the North Shore Channel, with a bicycle path, tree collections and a prairie restoration area. Your trainer can build intervals, mobility work or a walk-run plan around any of them.

Evanston personal training FAQ
Can my trainer use the fitness center in my building?
Yes. Training in your building's fitness center is one of our standard options, so check your building's guest policy first. If the gym is busy, your trainer can bring the equipment to your unit instead.
Do you offer meal delivery in Evanston?
Our meal delivery serves downtown Chicago only. You can still use our nutrition counseling service and pair it with your training.
Can I train at my office instead of at home?
Yes. A certified trainer can come to your office, your home, your building's gym or a nearby park, and you can mix locations from week to week. We just ask for 24 hours' notice to reschedule.
