Three BNSF Stations in One Village
Hinsdale station is at 21 E. Hinsdale Avenue, West Hinsdale is at Hinsdale Avenue and Stough Street, and Highlands sits at Highland Road and County Line Road, and Metra lists all three as accessible. The village incorporated in 1873 and has celebrated its 150th anniversary. Most of it lies in DuPage County, with the rest in Cook. For training, though, you never need the train: a certified trainer comes to your door with the equipment, and we ask only for 24 hours' notice to reschedule.
Older Houses, a Historic Overlay and Home Gyms
About 82 percent of housing units are detached single-family houses, and about 16 percent were built before 1940, according to CMAP's June 2026 snapshot. In 2022 the village created a Historic Overlay District that offers zoning relief and grants to owners of listed historic properties. Whether your house was built before 1940 or last year, your trainer plans movements around the room you have. Every trainer is required to hold a Bachelor's degree plus a nationally accredited certification, and every session is insured.

Hinsdale personal training FAQ
Is Hinsdale in DuPage or Cook County?
Both. Choose DuPage reports that about 86 percent of the village's assessed valuation is in DuPage County and the rest in Cook, and trainers come to homes on either side.
Can we train outside at Katherine Legge Memorial Park?
Yes, a trainer can meet you there. The park's open space and sledding hill suit walking and hill work, and it also has an off-leash dog area with seasonal hours.
Where does the Southern DuPage Regional Trail begin?
Here. DuPage County describes it as a 49-mile route from Hinsdale to Aurora that links 11 communities, mostly on sidepaths, so it works for longer walks or rides between sessions.
