In-Home Personal Training in North Center

North Center has more single-family houses than the neighborhoods closer to the lake, and that usually means room to train at home. A certified trainer brings the equipment to your house, two-flat or apartment, and it all starts with a free consultation and a call or text from us within one business day.

Basements, Garages and Spare Rooms

Along with all those houses, North Center has plenty of two-flats and small multi-unit buildings. If you have a basement or garage, it can turn into a real training space over time, with room for a bench and heavier dumbbells as you get stronger. A spare bedroom works just as well. In a two-flat or apartment, your trainer brings compact equipment and keeps the impact low for the neighbors below. Either way, you don't need to buy anything, and a living-room rug is enough to begin.

Riverside Workouts at Horner Park

Horner Park is a big riverside park along the North Branch, which means room to spread out. Its softball fields leave space for sprints, carries and conditioning circuits, and the tennis and pickleball courts work for footwork drills. Just north across Montrose, Welles Park adds ball fields and a soccer field for shorter sessions close to home. From St. Ben's to the blocks around Horner Park, an outdoor session is easy to fit in while it's warm, and the plan moves back inside when winter comes.

Training Through Pregnancy and After

If you're expecting or recently had a baby, pre- and postnatal training is one of the goals we match trainers for. With your doctor's okay, your trainer adjusts the plan as your body changes, with a focus on strength, posture and comfortable movement. After the baby arrives, training at home means no gym trip and no childcare to line up. Sessions come in 30, 45 or 60 minutes, so a shorter one can fit around nap time, and your partner can join for a shared session.

Outdoor sessions near you

  • Horner Park — Sprints and carries on the softball fields, footwork drills on the courts.
  • Welles Park — Shorter outdoor sessions on the ball fields and soccer field across Montrose.
