Emily is a yoga instructor who has been practicing for 6 years and teaching for 2 years. She began a yoga and meditation practice in college as a way to manage stress and anxiety. The impact was so surreal, she wanted others to benefit in the same way. Emily’s instruction is rooted in mindfulness and healthy alignment cues to reach the depth of the yogic experience. In Emily’s class, you can expect a powerful intention, visualization exercises, mindful breath-work and modified cues to make the class accessible to all levels. Aroma therapy is also incorporated into her classes to provide a calming space. To Emily, yoga is a practice that clears the mind and body to make space for clarity and a new found perspective. She shares curiosities, questions and perspectives that engage students to reflect. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, you are sure to walk away from her class feeling great.
